Training & Development For Our Wildlife Volunteers
Hunter Wildlife Rescue (NATF) provides specialised training for members actively involved in rescuing, caring for, or transporting wildlife. Our courses uphold the OEH Code of Practice for Injured and Orphaned Protected Fauna, ensuring the best outcomes for native animals.
Training is available exclusively to Active Members and not offered for tertiary studies or professional development unless they are also current rescuers or carers. To enrol, you must first join as a member and complete the New Member Introduction Course.

Courses are available only for Active Members who can commit to caring, rescuing or transporting. Unfortunately we’re unable to offer training to tertiary students or those seeking professional development unless they are active members. To register a place in a course, you must be a member who has first completed the New Member Introduction Course.
