Training & Development For Active Wildlife Volunteers
Hunter Wildlife Rescue (NATF) offers a comprehensive range of training and development opportunities for active members. These courses are designed to support the high standards of wildlife care outlined in the OEH Code of Practice for Injured and Orphaned Protected Fauna and to give native animals the best chance of a successful return to the wild.
Training is available exclusively to active members who are involved in rescuing, caring for, or transporting wildlife. Unfortunately, we’re unable to offer places to tertiary students or individuals seeking professional development unless they are also active volunteers.
To enrol in any course, you must first be a member and have completed the Introduction to New Members course.
