Training and Development Calendar 2024

Hunter Wildlife Rescue provides a broad range of training and development for its members to support the high standards of wildlife rehabilitation required under OEH’s Code of Practice for Injured & Orphaned Protected Fauna and to ensure the successful return of such fauna back to the wild environment.  Any member of an OEH licensed rehabilitation group is welcome to attend. Active Hunter Wildlife Rescue members will receive email notifications regarding upcoming training opportunities.

We are currently finalizing the training schedule for 2024 and it will be published here as soon as it is available.

 

Venue Information

 

Please ensure you are at the venue in time to secure a seat.

When attending training days, please park in CAR PARK NO 2.

You must register to attended these training days and after cut of date no forms will be accepted.

Venue

 

All courses are conducted at the Hunter Wildlife Rescue Centre unless specified. Courses start at 9.00 am and conclude at 3.30 pm. Please ensure you arrive and are seated prior to 9:00am start.

 

Registration Process

 

Enrollment in any training course, requires payment of course fees prior to attendance as acceptance of payments on the training day is not permitted.  There will be a maximum of 24 participants for each course (unless specified) after which registered members will be placed on a waiting list pending cancellation.
