First indications were that he was as the xrays showed some fragments in his abdomen…however, on further investigation, the “fragments” in Mikey’s were in fact stones, picked up whilst eating grass as he tried to survive in a huge treeless paddock. Mikey was probably running between the cows wanting to play, which the cows didnt appreciate and must have kicked him. His leg was hanging and he couldnt put any weight on it and his foot was turned out at an odd angle. Mikey will go for acupuncture but at the moment is eating and pelleting really well.
