January 2011 - Christmas Day Slaughter!!
More Kangaroos Killed at Morisset Hospital

Morisset Hospital kangaroos continue to be slaughtered. On Christmas Day at 2.30am the NATF Wildlife Rescue Service was called to assist 5 Eastern Grey Kangaroos who were again, callously run down. One pouched young remained alive with its dead mother and was taken into care.

Later during Christmas Day, the NATF Wildlife Rescue Service Rescue phones received another call from the hospital with another two more roos found with broken legs from that night’s slaughter. A total of seven adult Eastern Grey Kangaroos were killed with one joey alive.

September 2010 - Oil Spill – Newcastle Pelicans in need of help.

On Thursday 26th August NATFInc Wildlife Rescue Service pelican rescue was alerted to several pelicans, covered with oil. Thus began a week of search, capture and rehabilitation of up to18 pelicans. Read full story
