Species: Yellow-Bellied Glider

Millie

Reason taken into care:

This juvenile female glider was found caught by her gliding membrane on a barb wire fence west of Cessnock. She was very stressed, dehydrated and in poor health. Listed as a threatened species, this docile glider has a distinctive, very long fluffy tail which she groomed continuously to perfection despite her poor health. After a course of antibiotics and 4 to 6 weeks rehabilitation the damage to her gliding membrane and tail healed and
Millie has been successfully released.
