Species: Squirrel Glider Squiz & Jewel
Jewel (left) a female Squirrel Glider was found in the pouch of her dead mother, eyes still closed, the destinctive stripes just starting to show. After weeks of intensive care, she has now been joined by Squiz.
Squiz,(right)a young male Squirrel Glider came into care after being separated from his mother. Jewel and Squiz have now been buddied up and are enjoying one another's company.
As two of the Hunter's threatened species, they will eventually be released together and have high expectations for their future.
